Richard Starling was ordained to ministry at Jones Road Baptist Church in May 2024, where he served as an elder before becoming Pastor. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is growing in the theological convictions that shape his preaching and pastoral care. Richard’s heart for ministry is rooted in a simple conviction — that the local church exists to make disciples who make more disciples. He loves theology, takes the Bible seriously, and is committed to seeing Jones Road become a church that attempts great things for God. Richard and his wife Emily have been married since 2013 and have three children — Lydia, Rory, and Zeke. In his spare time he enjoys reading and cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Mary, affectionately known as Joette, has been the sound tech at Jones Road since 1998. She has been married to husband Stephen since 1998 and has three sons and three grandchildren. Born in Nashville, GA, Joette accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12 but her parents dedicated her to the Lord when she was two. She considers it a joy to wake up to new blessings and adventures every day. Joette loves cooking, sewing, listening to music and studying her bible. Her favorite bible passage is Psalm 100:1-5.

Tammy Sikes has been apart of the Jones Road community since 1985.
